The senior leadership team of a market access, launch excellence and sales organisation for a global biopharma company asked for our help and advice during a period of significant growth and change.

We brought our unique approach to culture change to the conversation and worked with them to deliver their preferred culture via three Culture Transformation Teams, recruited from within their organisation, to build momentum from the inside out.

This process was supported by a communications strategy which celebrated the team’s journey at every stage and told the story of their impact to the business.

Goals

Strategic support for the senior leadership team to embed culture, communicate consistently and lead well through the change process

Advice and practical support for three Culture Transformation Teams to help them meet their goals

Facilitate honest, whole-team conversations around what helps them work together to achieve their goals

Approach

We designed a nine-month journey with the client, blending impactful workshops with ongoing coaching and reflection, uniting leaders around a vision for their culture, whilst upskilling them for implementation. This included:

One-to-one sessions with the senior leader, acting as a trusted advisor, mentor and coach

Facilitating a unique leadership assessment process – “The 5Voices of the Team” – to spark personal reflection and shape relational communication

Engaging Team workshops to review baseline data, identify opportunities and define goals

Actively supporting and coaching the communications lead to shape and deliver a strategy that felt purposeful and part of delivering their preferred culture

Results

The client reported an increase in confident ownership of the new culture amongst their teams, with people staying energised and feeling more aligned between their work and the goals of the business.

Communication across the organisation became more focused and intentional, bringing clarity and raising awareness of the function’s achievements across the business.

Our collaboration continued beyond the culture transformation, as the team saw growth in patient numbers, increased presence in over 100 countries, and substantial income growth.
