Our client is a senior leader in a competitive rare-disease pharmaceutical company. They had recently received a promotion to an international legal leadership role and needed to restructure their team, develop the team’s offer as business partners to country leaders, and develop effective relationships with peers at the enterprise level.
The Five&Co. Executive Coaching Program is a one-on-one, bespoke process lasting 6-12 months that impacts the leader and their organisation in clear, practical ways. Goals are defined by both the leader and the organisation, and our unique partnership approach delivers the highest level of learning and personal development by bringing three distinct perspectives to the discussions – advisor, mentor, and coach.
With this leader we set three well-defined goals:
With this leader we used a Step II MBTI diagnostic to uncover deep insights regarding their approach to conflict management, communication and decision making. With their team, manager and key stakeholders we undertook a 360 interviews to understand the context of their leadership strengths and challenges.
From this data we agreed priority areas and accountability, working with them over 6 months on the themes that had surfaced:
The client had full access to the breadth and depth of Five&Co’s expertise, with different consultants providing insight and support depending on their expertise.
We closed the program with a 3-way leader-manager-consultant conversation focused on achievements, challenges and recommendations for next steps.
The client reported a deeper understanding of how they “show up,” enabling them to lead with consistency and integrity in the new context, while building trust and influence across the organisation. In particular:
From the manager: “We’ve seen a marked shift in how [the client] leads – more intentional, more grounded, and far more influential across the enterprise. They’ve not only built their team effectively but have become a trusted partner to senior stakeholders. The coaching gave them the clarity and confidence to lead through complexity with integrity.”
