Tim Harford on Disruption as a Leadership Skill
8 minute watch
What does extensive research tell us about how to solve problems in our organisations? How can leaders use disruption to innovate and improve team performance?
To explore these questions and more we invited senior leaders from across the top 50 Pharmaceutical organisations to the first event in our Pharma: The Innovation Challenge round table series.
We were joined by Tim Harford OBE, Oxford University Fellow, FT columnist, Bestselling Author and BBC Radio Four presenter who pulled on research from multiple industries (from music to AI) to help inform the peer to peer discussion that followed.
We discussed how large scale disruption can be managed and harnessed and asked how leaders can inject low level disruption into their teams to help them thrive.

At this time of blurred boundaries and the irrelevance of geography in team working, we wanted to create a space for senior life science leaders to be invested in and challenged. This is what the our Round Table Series is all about.
